Presenter: Cara Lee Palmer, LCSW and Mindfulness
Mindfulness is an invitation to be more present for our lives and step out of autopilot, that busy, rushing doing mode of living rather than being. By learning to pay attention to the present moment and not get lost in the past or worry about the future we can begin to trust the inner wisdom each of us have. We can live more fully and begin to respond to life rather than react. This opens our choices. Learning to live mindfully can increase our ability to relax, manage anxiety and improve our overall health and wellbeing. It can help manage physical pain, lower our heart rate and improve the quality of our lives.
Everyone is capable of learning to be more mindful and meditative. Come and join us for a one-hour discussion on learning to be mindful in our hectic world.
